MyPcPassword is a simple C# .NET windows form application in which can provide you with a basic overview of your computers information. This project was originally created for a friends computer repair business where he frequently needed to obtain certain information from a customers computer before further analyzing the the issues they were experiencing. Upon opening the application information is provided for the following categories:

  • OS - Operating System
  • CPU - Central Processing Unit
  • GPU - Graphics Processing Unit
  • RAM - Random Access Memory
  • HDD - Hard Disk Drives (and SSDs)

Various information is provided for each category such as names, manufacturers and versions and you can even export this information to a text file. Here is an example of a report:

As you may have noticed by the dates from the report this project is actually quite old and was written in 2014. The application still works today for all Windows based operating systems. I do plan in the future to update this project and potentially increase the amount of information in which is provided.
